L.E.A.P INITIATIVE

Learn, Earn, Achieve, Progress

The L.E.A.P. Initiative was created to strengthen our communities by providing the people in our community education and training to help improve their lives, helping our communities healthcare providers close the gap of the Indiana nursing shortage, and educating people on providing skilled care to our most vulnerable and endearing citizens.

The L.E.A.P. Initiative’s Paid Apprenticeship Program has been made possible through Indiana Academy of Nursing and a collaborative effort between long-term care providers, assisted living providers, home health providers, and hospice providers. We recognize that our communities’ healthcare providers require skilled workers, and we are committed to finding solutions that meet the needs of both our students and our communities.

We designed the L.E.A.P Initiative’s Paid Apprenticeship Program as a way to develop our communities’ workforce and serve the needs of older adults in our community by offering skilled job opportunities to those who otherwise could not afford to attend college to obtain this certification on their own.

We are excited to announce that Indiana Academy of Nursing’s L.E.A.P. Initiative is accepting applications for our Paid Apprenticeship Program and No Cost Nursing Assistant Training Class to obtain your state certification. This will allow you the support and training necessary to advance your career as a nursing assistant.

If you’re ready to start a career where you’ll build long-lasting relationships and be fulfilled professionally and intellectually, then we’re excited to work with you.
